With the increasing professionalism in sport there has also been an increased expectation by organisations that are employing quality facility and event managers.
Sporting facilities are no longer run as community centres and whether operated by local or State government or facility management groups, a majority of facilities are now run as businesses where there is as much concern about the bottom line as there is about the usage of the facility.
